![]() I posted a thread a while ago about a rattling/clanking noise that I'd noticed - usually after a longish run - that sounded to me as if it was coming from the front suspension area. I had one or two replies suggesting things like the crankshaft pulley (now replaced) or the droplinks (also now replaced) but the noise persists. It's most noticeable when either coasting or on light throttle and at low speeds, though I may be getting more attuned to it, because I seem to hear it more than I used to. I was wondering whether it might be to do with the driveshafts, the CVs or even the wheel bearings? I would welcome any further suggestions and ways that I could eliminate some of these short of replacing them.

![]() I'd say it could be the front rear arm bushes...
I noticed it most when I hit the gas then dropped the gas I noticed the steering wheel gently/slightly rock from one to another... |

![]() I haven't noticed it happening with changes in throttle setting, only on light or no throttle, but I'll check for any play in the bushes.
