No power
My mg zt 2.5v6 02 has started to blow smoke and acceration won't drive over 50mph no power!!!!! Engine ticks over idel ok . Had trouble with petrol filter coming apart but resolved this help any ideas

Sounds like a sensor problem. Have you tried an error code reader?

Currently limping back from wales 7 hrs with smoke n no power ..... Fed up x

What colour is the smoke: black, hazy blue or white?

KV6 engine
White smoke means water so you may have a faulty inlet manifold gasket. Several members have experienced this.
The fuel filter wouldn't result in a smokey exhaust. Simon
