I should point out, I don't really care if anyone cuts their intake, each to their own, but am always interested in potential benefits or pitfalls to modifications.

Exactly, as am i. A quick, cheap crude modification. The car drives better, as I've described. Other person to have done this hack, and experienced the same. But if people have tried it and logged the data through the rev range and found no improvement in airflow by removing the air intake, then fairplay, i can't argue with factual data. Once I've sorted a proper intake feed, I'll get some data and try to make a pretty graph, with rpm, airflow, throttle position and boost.



I didn't cut the intake tho! The chopped intake mod seems pointless, to be honest.

When you have the cumulative experience of Jules and Marinbrian, I would imagine that their knowledge of what works and what does not is incalculable .Two of the most knowledgeable members on here. Not just my opinion, ask around.
