PS3 Upgraded
Had this advertised a few weeks back as spares or repair but no interest, so decided I had nothing to lose trying to fix it.
Turned out to be an incredibly easy fix. Took the HD out of an external drive I had (a samsung), and put that in, downloaded the software from the sony website, and loaded it, and away it went. An as new system. I used it for several hours over the last few days and all is fine. With the old HD it used to crash the moment it did any updates. The old drive was a 120GB, it's now got a 250GB drive, will come with a control, and a few games (Gran Turismo 5, Midnight Club Los Angeles, H.A.W.X. 2, and possibly 1 or 2 more). Hopefully I'll locate the power lead, and my mate is sending me the standard cable to go into the TV (think it's a scart), though the graphics are much better with an HDMI. Looking for £60 plus P&P or local delivery/collection. Open to offers. |

Due to time wasters I took it to CEX this morning, got more than I was asking for it too! So no longer available.
