Default Parking Sensors hole maker tool

Hi all,
I am going to be receiving an OEM parking sensor setup soon, which I will be putting into my Club.
I have seen a couple of threads in the 'How to" forum on how to install them.
My question is, do I drill a starter hole with a drill bit and then finish off with another type (the name escapes me at present). I seem to remember my father having something in his tools for cutting holes in wood, that fitted in his electric drill. But not sure if that is what i need.
Is there a more specialised tool for the hole drilling, or do I just go for it with a large drill bit?
Cheers,
Graeme

The proper tool punches it out rather then drill is out
