so the feature was originally planned, but ultimately not fitted for production?

Just like the small electric heater to provide 'instant heat when cold', which wasn't fitted either?

Agree absolutely.
That's why they are cheap though. I bought mine for a price that I could 'part it' & make a big profit.
But I want to use & enjoy it.

So you guys with the T4 kit, (who know how to use it) get some business, & we can take our pleasure driving the cars. Cheap motoring.

As Phil says, never been fitted on our cars.
