Tazu master cylinder
good morning,
my rover breezed its mot the other day, so its time to spend some money on it. The last part I want to buy is a tazu mk1. I will probably ft it with the copper pipe initially. Is this still the best way to go in replacing the plastic one? Also could someone confirm for a cdt tourer mk1, if I was to go down the flex pipe route this is what to buy hose 880mm one end straight swivel, other 70 degree swivel. can you point me in the direction of an online supplier. thanks michael |

We have the Tazu Mk1, and the fact that XPart have adopted it as an 'official part' speaks volumes - they're a very good replacement for the plastic item. Having had half of the original plastic items I sold back within a year, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! We have the Official MG Rover part here: 75/ZT Clutch Master Cylinder - Metal

Just had a look at the link , and see it still comes with the copper pipe Guess they believe it to be ok I'll be doing this soon as a preventative maintenance job and would have gone for a replacement plastic one , due to pipe bother with the Tazu mk1 and the iffy reputation of the Tazu mk2 ( the original plastic one has lasted 102k miles so far ) , but this is making me think again .
