Load of rubbish...I have OEM mud flaps, Front and rear.. love them to bits...and fitted with a built in moisture sensor for the fronts.

Use your eyes?...! Take them off every 3 months and clean.. wax protect the paint work

Simple enough isnt it?..

Well I decided to take heed of the advice given and remove the mudflaps,just as well I did, there wasn't much crud,but the edge of the flaps had cut into the paintwork,right down to bare plastic on the rear bumper.amd almost bare metal on the front wings.
Rust spots have started forming on the edge of the sills,so I'm going t get some touch up,and a quick sand down of the rust,and touch up until,the summer,then I will sort it properly. Thanks to all who gave the heads up in this thread.
So f anyone wants a set of oem mudflaps.....

Also apart from the problems already mentioned they are so low off the ground they scrape on everything. Took mine off last year.

Err, no thanks, better still don't bother fitting them in the first instance
