I wondered who'd got it. I was first to phone, but couldn't get up on time, because I was at uni. Bargain at £250 for a car that just needs an ECU. I didn't want to buy prior to sorting out transport for it.
Good luck with the project.

I must admit I was a bit impulsive and told him I was buying it if he held it until I could get through to pay him for it. He had no computer or Pay pal account so Going through was the only way to pay for it. It was his friend that put it on Gumtree for him. It was the auto electrician's quote of over a £1000 to repair it, if he could source the part that made him put it up for sale as spares.

Amazing the amount of time members have spent detailing how to repair and mod things, then posting a how to in pictures, where else would you get this information for £10 a year, fantastic!! |

Thanks Brian, Duncan is going to have a look at it for me, so keeping my fingers crossed it can be fixed. I will see you at Broughty Ferry to get my own cdti tuned, and if Duncan can fix this one, which is for my wife I will be up with the 2 of them to get tuned.

Ah! well, I'm sure I could overcome that, thanks for the help and will get back to you if I'm struggling, at the moment just waiting for a friend of Duncan to see if he can do it.
