Lack of materials according to BBA.
I asked about these and got this response from them in October last year:

Good afternoon,

Apologies for not seeing this email sooner.

Sadly, we no longer offer tests/repairs/exchanges on this component I’m afraid (the website needs refreshing), due to lack of materials to carry out the repair.

We are very sorry for the delay in responding to you and thank you for the opportunity at this time.

Kind Regards,

BBA-Reman.

I think the demand is there, its just not enough people going the extra mile in asking, like myself and a few other members to companies to get the interest to make it viable. Also in turn the company itself may not have gone to the right place eg this club to promote their product. I have had my car for 5 years and have kept a look out for any info on the v6 manifold and today is the first time I have heard of the company and its product.

I'm still waiting for a V6 manifold from MG China to arrive, to see how different they are. We know the VIS Motors are the same (well, very very similar).

That is some encouraging news, fingers crossed they have redesigned the internals.
A big thanks on your tireless efforts to keep our cars n the road.

You'll make me blush!
In all honesty, I can't see them changing the internals much - most of the stuff from China has been a near enough exact copy of the Rover part.
Good news for some parts (for example the drop links, which seem indestructible!) but bad news for known factory weak-points.

That's what the Chinese do......copy.
Better than nothing though as long as they use the proper materials & not chocolate

We're careful with all of our stock, particularly parts we import.
Touch wood, all of our SAIC MG kit has been top-notch so far.
