Default seat belt adjustment

I have lost the clip under seat that moves belt position in b pillar,would this be why the seat belt dose not retract fully.

it may be getting rumpled up in the mechanism...

I did the same and use a strong cable tie as a temporary connector..

I did not have that issue but it may be the contributor to yours.

Replace the hook under the seat. Pull the belt out fully and clean with a small amount of furniture Polish on a cloth.
