The 'Ninja' is a Classic Bike - personally I wouldn't. Wish I still had my Kat - couldn't afford one now!!!
Plus, your looks bog-standard - be worth some good money one day...

You should keep it as long as you don't need the cash or are wanting something different. I keep seeing pics of stuff I had, first year 750 slabeside GSXR, Honda NS400R, RGV250, YPVS..and they are all now out of my budget.
If needs must then so be it, Would I sell a 900R for anything newer - No.. Same period machine - maybe, but only because on a personal level I preferred the air cooled GPz's as I had an 1100 Unitrack for a while..

If you really want to see a bike that I should never have sold ........
I bought it as a non-runner for £15 and got it running, then sold it for £55. Must be worth six or seven grand now! EDIT Or even a lot more:- http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/19766/lot/345/ It lives not far from me now but I haven't seen it for well over 40 years. The new owner sent me a pic via the owners club. Mike
