Landcrab
Austin Princess 1800, The Landcrab.
Massive, Unwieldy, Handled Like Your Mum After 10 Pints. Got to be the worst car I ever owned but loved it, crappy brown colour, started coming rain or shine, great in the snow, find a snowdrift, drive at it and you are through. Cost me £250 and lasted four years. Winner. Wizzo337. |

Early 60's mini van, first "car" I owned.
Very consistent performer, I new it would break down on every journey, just didn't know whether it would run 2 miles or 20 miles before it stopped. Usually packed in because of the fuel pump, which was strapped to the sub-frame under the drivers seat, easy fix, lean out of the open door and tap the pump with a large screwdriver until it started ticking, then off we go for another few miles. Loved that van, worst, or was it best, I ever had |
