Default Android Micro SD card Spec

What is the read speed spec required on the Micro SD cards when used in the Android units ?
Is a fast read speed (100mbs) wasted on the unit and on 20mbs required ?

I've got a Samsung SDHC UHS-I class 10+ sd card, and I can tell you that the unit isnt capable of úsing it to it's full potential, but I haven't tried/tested to see what it can handle.

I would estimate that a class 6 or 8 would be the most it can handle, but I'm not 100% sure on this.

For music or video you should use a Class 10 card.
For programs etc. you can do with an 8 or even a 6.
