Salary: Commission Only - OTE £43,000
So, to be clear, you want an unemployed person (as thats the basis of your rant), to self fund themselves, have their own internet connection / hardware etc, making calls till the point where they earn a commission! Think you need to withdraw your rant! Simon

unemployment rate RANT
Is was going to respond earlier but I have to agree, people want money to pay bills etc, they don't mind working for it, but to be given a carrot on string very far away. Don't think it's realistic even for good sales people to go for.

The job title and role seem somewhat at odds. I'd look again at the role expand further on that, specifically what the company does. The advertised wage seems to go good to be true. £43000 isn't a wage that is easily gained, particularly in what it sounds to be telesales. I'd probably change the job title as well.

I really appreciate your feed back!!
I had the add writen up for me by the recruitment company. The fact is im not looking for a specialist, I am looking for just your average joe willing to make calls to gain business, in return I offer them 50% of the revenue which yes will EASILY fetch 40k a year if not more. I think I may have to change the advert a round and get it re writen. All the job requirs the employee to do is call up sole traders and business owners to offer them a free product. Any more advise would be great |

Don't take this the wrong way, but now that I have read the advert, and as I have previously stated I am currently looking for work, I'm sorry to say its a job I wouldn't go for. Main reason being yes I have internet connection, but don't have a phone line, sounds like a lot of outlay before you get any money/wage coming in. This would put a lot of unemployed people off
So my initial thoughts are you want someone like me to pay to have a phone installed, then make numerous calls, which may lead to nothing and then pay out a lot of expense before I get a single penny. Just my thoughts.

Some idea of the type of product. Perhaps you don't want to say what it is, but what industry would be good. IE automotive, medical, construction industrial parts etc. Mention that it is selling to businesses as well.
Not to harp on about about the wage, but it does seem to good to be true. I don't know what it is they will be selling, so I will just say, if it is an easily earnt £40k+ it must be one of very very few in the country. If you aren't looking for a specialist say that. The advert reads as though you need a background in specialist sales, that coupled with the job title will put most unemployed off. After all I doubt there are many unemployed 'Business Development Excutives' in Hampshire on the dole. |

As a business we would cover all cost of phone line ect..
I may change the job title as said it looks to specialised for the people I want. |
