Xenons
Hi All,
Just wondered what the school of thought was on these - they seem to be popular and much more efficient than normal halogens but do people replace both dipped and main bulbs or just one or the other? |

just the dipped beam, xenons take a few seconds to warm up so would be useless as the main beam (unless it was a bi-xenon unit which the 75/ZT's are not)

After having factory fitted Xenons on the ZT, I would and could never, ever go back to normal headlamps.
They are simply a class above anything else. Interestingly enough, "bi-xenon" units simply use a solenoid to move a flap/mask plate that blocks out the high beam until its required. I never realised that before! |

I would second that; the factory xenon dip beams are so much better than normal halogen lights |
