tv—dvd on rover headunit

is it possible to just get rover screen headunit and have dvd/tv without fitting rest of boxes for satnav or loom

Afraid not.

The screen is powered from a unit in the boot.

If you are good at wiring it may be possible to seperate the correct wires but there is no actual video in connection on the "dumb" head unit.
