alpine cd player control box
I recently purchased tis setup from ebayhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-75-P...em258186dbaf.I.and it has three wires coming out of the control box.red white and brown,can anyone tell me where they connect to please.(maybe one for coolcat or raykay.)

It looks like you have a Harmony stereo with a standard Alpine CD changer, and an interface box to connect them together. You may have to contact the makers of the box as it is not an MGRover part.

on the box it says ICD R75-ALP.So i'm guessing it is a rover part? how can I find out the manufacturer?I would really like to get this unit working

The Harmony (and Symphony) will only work direct with a matching MGRover CD changer (although they are made by Alpine and look like a standard Alpine unit)
For the Harmony to work with a standard CD changer, an after-market interface adapter is needed so that stereo output/input is recognised by the changer input/output. ICD is one of the manufacturers that make the adapters. Last edited by raykay; 3rd September 2013 at 11:06.. |
