Range Rover Grid Spokes
Saw a Range Rover the other day and it looked like it had gridspokes on it similar to the ZT/75 18",
I didn't get to see if they are 18" or another size, but does any one have any info on these? It was a 2005 Land Rover Range Rover, and the wheels were not like the ones you see on later ones, ie the grids were rectangular rather than pointing in. Was thinking that maybe these are the same as the ZT/75 or maybe a different size and might be a 19" possibility? Anyone know what I am babbling about!? |

I don't think so as the rectangles were 90o all round if I remember correctly! Maybe I imagined it or it was the heat, but it appeared to have the same number of spokes as MG/Rover ones which is 6/12 I think. Maybe there were MG/Rover gridspokes plopped on, it had Land Rover centre caps... ETA Just checked the MG Rover gridspokes and they are 7/14 spokes, so maybe I am going bananas! Need to see it again and take a photo probably! Last edited by GT Courier; 23rd July 2013 at 15:29.. |

Thanks for the info chaps, wonder what the rim width is for the Range Rover? Might be a nice 'OEM' option for a 19" solution with wider width tyres that might suit a beefier look or a V8 for traction... Might work well with the Xpower bodykit too if they are wide enough? Is that project still going on? |
