V6 inter bank metal fuel line O-Rings
I have finally started my LPG conversion. Part of this involded swapping the inlet manifolds for a set that I have fitted the LPG injector nozzles to.
This meant taking the fuel rails off and swapping them and the injectors to the new mainfolds and upon reassebly spraying most of the engine bay with petrol ... I found most of the injector o-rings were rather old and hard, so change them, and it was a lot better hoever then notince the fuel line from the front bank to the rear bank was leaking where it enters the rear banks injector rail. I have repalced that with a smaller fatter black o-ring which seems fine ATM but it is a bit stretched, there are signs of it's counterpart on the front bank is weeping very slighly as well and has been for some time. I have to say if my range is to be belived after filling up with fuel on the way to work it does appear to be using less fuel now. But I am drifing off the reason for my post.. is the green/brown colour of the original O-Ring important, and what size is it?
