i know its not a car but... **SOLD**
im a member and its a vehicle!! mods, if its in the wrong section please feel free to move it!
Anyway, here we go! I'm seriously thinking about selling my bike. There has been a couple of people close to my family that have had serious bike accidents in the last few months, and my girlfriend is worried everytime I get on the bike. I know the odds of anything happening are slim, but there is always that chance, and to be honest I'm not enjoying riding as much myself, as I'm always thinking about what might be around the corner. So, I thought I'd have a look and see if I got any interest in my bike. It's a 1998 ZX9R c1 in blue, pretty good condition all over. It's done 23k miles, averages over 50mpg, has some service history including valve clearances at 21k, and most of the old mots. The tyres are Avon av59 and av60, and they both have plenty of life left in them. The chain and sprockets are good, as are the pads and discs. I will put an mot on it next week as it runs out tomorrow. There is tax til the end of sept. I serviced the bike in April, including balancing the carbs. There are no mechanical issues at all and the only cosmetic issues are a few age related things such as paint chipping on too if the swing arm in front of the wheel, and there are a couple of patches on the wheels where the paint has worn off, but really nothing too bad! In general it's an all round good bike, with no issues that need doing. I rode the bike on a 500 mile round trip to the isle of man in april and it never missed a beat ll the way there and back. I will include a Morgan carbtune, paddock stand and an Oxford rainex cover. It's currently got a viper end can on, but I also have the original. Any questions at all please get in touch. I'm looking for £1500, but I'm open to offers. Im in banbury but I'm also willing to deliver the bike to you anywhere in the country if you cover my train fair home! |
