it really is something else, the increased detail and clarity over the SD version is breathtaking, HD really does shine with this sort of footage.

Did you watch it on a PC or a proper HD setup, just noticed this is in the PC section.

Watched on a 37" Toshiba LCD using a Toshiba HD DVD player.....makes me wonder how I ever managed squinting at my old 21" CRT (Square) Sony...

I switched to HD LCD TV in november and baulked at the cost of replacing all the other boxs to HD versions, so switched to a Vista Media Center system which has replaced everything under the TV, and have never looked back.

That is an interesting set-up. I am quite tempted as then I could sort Blu Ray and high quality sound for the whole system....and I built a little used desk top PC last summer....I would need a new graphics card or motherboard however as there is no built in HDMi.
