My first car was a Morris 1100 , then..........I fell in love and brought a white Austin Morris 1300 GT.........what a rocket.

Default Austin - 1100,1300,1300GT

Hi

These were great little cars .. my first car ( AIA 4760) was a white Austin 1100, first reg 1967, bought in 1973 for the princely sum of £110 with the first years insurance costing me £172.

May not seem a lot of money now, but lets not forget the average wage in 1973 was less than £30 /pw

It's always bring back happy memories when I see one of these fully restored and being used in 2013.
