I think china isnt that interested in uk as a market they pay token respect by keeping the design team here as we still do have the odd good idea, I am appalled they did not permit the roewe 750 to be sold here it would have sold like hotcakes Im sure !! but now its being dropped from production as the home market sees it as old fashioned. On why dealers may be dropping MG a dealer friend who had a franchise with them told me after selling the initial cars they provided, when he went to re order he was asked to pay in full for each car !!! which I understand is never done there usually is a 3 months grace period I believe and in these straitened times no one has that much cash.

the new local MG dealer told me today they had given up and the MG sign had been taken down ready to send back,seems a shame but they just did not sell.
