You could try a waxy quick detailer, or a natural wax spray wax like Werkstat Jett Carnubra over the top. Ive tried this and find it quite a nice combo.

It could be that you just dont like silver much, i have to admit that i dont either.

My mate has an aged 'half tub' of 'Blitz Wax' pure Carnuaba; so I'll try a couple of coats of that and see what happens!!!

If I win the lottery, a full body respray in BLACK!!!!!!!!

I,ve been messing about all day trying to achieve the unachieveble on my Starlight silver sexbomb
2 layers of Poorboys Diamond Glaze and then 2 coats of Victoria wax and it looks ok without looking fantastic. Was tempted to top it with FK QD but did nt bother. Did nt think it would make any differance

I will never buy a silver car again

Some of the cars here have been shined like I've never seen silver paint before. Mind you, I can't believe the shine Devilish gets on his Firefrost and I'd like to see it in the metal one day.
In the 1980's I swore I'd never buy a red car. I once hired a red Ford Sierra and left it in an empty car park at Gatwick. When I returned, a couple of hours later, the car park was full of red Ford Sierras. Took me an age to find the right one. Now red is an endangered species and silver is the new red.
I never bought into silver domestic appliances and electrical items. IMO they usually look cheap (I like stainless steel, except for sinks). I think silver plastic household items have helped to shape my opinion of silver cars and I look forward to a change in fashion and the use of more yellows, purples and greens.
I draw the line at a 1998 registered Nissan that's recently appeared in our car park. It's flip painted in green and brown. It looks like a field, the raked soil sprouting with recently sown grass. I'll try and get a picture when I see it next.
And, much as I love my Firefrost, I wouldn't want half the cars on the road to be metallic red.

Dare I suggest to others how find silver cars as monotonous as I did you turn it into a duotone !! I did to mine and I have never been happier and recieved more compliments on the car with word like elegant and refined being used. Mines royal blue top to starlight silver bottom and it wasnt unreasonable when it came to price either. Fotr those who not keen on blue copperleaf red or firefrost red would be a good combination

I find my Starlight Silver ZT-T very frustrating after my Royal Blue 75.

The 75 was just so rewarding to do, looked fantastic and had such depth and shine you could almost swim in it.

Back to a dark colour for the next one methinks.

I get good results from my silver car, I reckon it depends how well the paint is aging to the end result.

I clayed mine and then used Auto Gym Super Resin Polish along with the extra gloss protection, I am happy with it, even though some dont rate the Auto Gym.

I do have to do it twice a year though, so not sure if that is good, but I like doing as it gives me some 'calm' time alone!

I do have other plans for jazzing up the silver but they are secret for now!

The good thing about Silver though (much like Grey as well) is that this time of year, they so appear to stay cleaner longer than most cars, as the colour hides the dirt well!
