FBH question
hallo guys first of im new so be gental
i have to admit i dont own a rover but a land rover td4 and my fbh was working fine until i had the fuel pipes changed and the in tank sender unit. now it trys to fire up ie it blows air through its self and out the exhaust and shuts of after a failed start. could this be a air lock in the fuel systerm of do thay self prime thanks for any help guys |

I think they will self prime, but the amount of fuel pumped each time is so small it takes a long time to get through the system. I bought a priming pump which pumps something like 60 times a minute and it took about 30 seconds to get from tank to FBH.

It won't self prime before the pump (I think), you'll need to use a syringe or something to get the fuel to the pump.
To get the fuel from the pump to the FBH you can apply 12v to the pump (polarity doesn't matter), keep touching the contacts repeatedly and it will prime the fuel pipe all the way to the FBH
