Default Service Lights Reset Problem

I have a 2000 2.5v6 and trying to reset the service interval using the Gunson reset tool via the obd socket, i have managed to reset the inspection to 24,000 km, but the display is not showing anything about the oil service interval, no countdown milaged displayed when ignition switched on, again it only displays the inspection milage for around 4 seconds, i have tried the procedure in the how to forum for resetting the service intervals but still no oil service milage indicator showing.

Display shows oil service/ inspection service/ oil service etc. as alternating display, 15,000 mile/24000 Km intervals - also shows brake service/ coolant etc. at 2-4 year intervals or as appropriate for vehicle.

yeap I guess that is it; oil service and inspection service both involve oil and filter change at 15k miles or 24k km. Different additional things to check on the two year interval.

So does this mean it shoud show oil service on the left and inspection on the right, as i say its only showing inspection at 24,000km

Display remains the same, just says 'Oil' or 'Insp' as well, other service warnings are also displayed the same.

This shot from the Handbook shows where the various displays appear on the trip recorder screen.

Thanks T-CUT for the display picture, the only thing missing is No 3 does not show the oil service indicator only the Inspection when ignition switched on and then displays the rest ok, so i am cluless as to why the oil service indicator not being displayed, any more clues as to what is wrong.
ps: it was showing -2000 before i tried to reset

The four second display is the standard ignition-on screen. If the service type hasn't changed from previous one, then I suspect you must have made the resetter 'run twice' and gone back to the same type even though the mileage/kms has reset to 24,000km.
If there's no service type showing, I guess the LCD screen system may have a fault.
