Roverron's Pugbox!
My tester has given some good feedback about my TU3H on his Picasso HDI.
He did drive a 75, but has given it to his father, along with the TU3 he had fitted to it. He commented that if anything, there was even more of a boost with his Picasso than with his 75. (The weight difference will accentuate this as well) Needless to say it doesn't need any warnings about tuning it up too high or the engine cuts out - like the one that comes with a Dr***n box! Cheers Chris. The dyno operator at Star also commented on another make of box that he'd tried on a Ford TDCi. It did the same thing - as soon as he tried to get close to the claimed power output, the engine cut out. I explained that many of these boxes suffer from a design flaw whereby the ecu effectively loses control of the fuel pressure. It then keeps on turning it up until the failsafe decides something's wrong and cuts off the fuel altogether. Ron

Excellent work Ron, glad my old box was useful
Only down side with a Picasso installation (probably the same with all PSA HDI engines) is you need to be a contortionist to get at the connector I am going to move this thread to the social forum as it is not really 75 related is it Good luck anyway and remember to post the news when ready on the Picasso forum I told you about, |

Only when I went back to my tried and tested 75/ZT version did it work first time. Look like I got it right first time! That's life! Ron
