Put a Diesel in Drive with your foot on the brake pedal,the engine is under load. This little gizmo helped to eliminate what vibration was experienced with the engine in this state through the steering wheel.
Has absolutely nothing to do with vibration felt when the car was in motion. |

I have never ever felt any vibration with my CDTi though the steering wheel was this for the Mk1
