Default Fridgemaker Frigidaire has NOT gone into administration - you er, heard it here first

Well you might remember I started a similarly titled thread last week (victim of the crash) after Tesco told me that Frigidaire had gone into administration, hence me not receiving contact about the delivery arrangements for my new appliance. I duly cancelled the order and got a full refund.

Well, I had a call today telling me that the courier was now ready to deliver my item.

Turns out that it was the courier that had gone into administration - Highways Worldwide or something like that. And the 'helpful' Tesco contact centre bod had got the wrong end of the stick.

Just goes to show you can't trust everything you are told

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Hi Bolin.
It is the firm of Hardman Isherwood who supply Frigidaire which are based in Normanton, West Yorks, which have gone into administration.

Ah thanks, so it looks like the supplier AND the courier have both gone into administration recently.... the new courier, which was a related courier to the original, didn't actually say when the predecessor went into administration but it must have been recent.

So the Tesco bod was right..... but still the order wasn't cancelled despite me receiving a refund

Anyway got a fridge elsewhere and it's nice and cold
