Default Random banging, scraping noise

GF has just rung to say the 75 has started making a kind of thump thump noise and slight metal scraping noise, especially when turning left? but tends to go away if using the brakes? No judder through steering wheel and car does not pull to either side?

She is 200 miles away from me with it so obviously can not have a look underneath it, any quick ideas I can ask her to check??

This must win most vague post ever........

Has the engine undertray come undone on one or both side? Can she see flat thing hanging down just behind one of the front wheels?

I had this a couple of years ago, help it up with a cable tie, passed MOT like that too!

Has any wheel arch liner come away from it's mountings?
The thump thump sounds more concerning but it would help if we knew which area of the car it came from.

Take it to a mechanic asap. It needs to be put on a ramp.
