Default Coolant hose

Hi I need to replace the coolant hose on my 1.8t zt it's the short one from top of radiator to the T piece, my question is will much coolant be lost when changing it? Just need to know weather to buy any antifreeze or not.

I bought the hose from rimmers and it cost 42 quid! Why are they so expensive?? What size jubilee clips will I need? I will replace the old original clips

Regards

Craig

you shouldnt lose much ,but it is always better to have more to hand just in case .take the new hose to a motor factor and match up the size of the jubilee clip so you got all the bits you need before you start the job .how long has the anti freeze been in the car ? maybe a chance to change the the coolant
