When I found it was overheating.
Anyway I have now use this camera, and have found 3 wires going to the rear of the fan, Black, Red, Green, can't see the plug as it looks like a birds nest back there.
So as you have said I also now believe it to be a three speed fan.
I will be contacting one of you re parts shortly, not yet decided as to whether to fit new motor, or full fan unit.

One further question. Would it be advisable to change the fan to a two speed, or leave it as it is, (repaired and working of course)

With three wires going to the motor it would be a two speed fan with no resistor, a three speed fan as four wires going to the motor, I would change it for a two speed fan with gold resitor shame you just missed the wolves nano as we fixed two last time and i had three more at home but they will be used up at the next nano in July no doubt
