Try sent from your Jupiter Ace using Forth instead ** Brian ** The Jupiter Ace was a chimera of design between a ZX81 and a ZX Spectrum, produced by Jupiter Cantab, a company set up by two of the design team involved in both the ZX 81 and ZX Spectrum. It utilised FORTH as it's high level language, rather than BASIC, but of course shared the same Zilog Z80A processor, so the machine code is the same Do I get a prize for most "off topic" post in thread |

Quite simply, if you drive a BMW you are actually better. It is that simple.
No-one in their right mind would choose a biscuit wheeled, chrome up old 75 over a BMW if they had the financial flexibility. All the people that get bent out of shape by another persons speed, are usually in such rot boxes that 50mph feels like the wheels are about to fall off. The German machinery doing 70, feels like you are in reverse, and quite rightly, is capable of quiet, comfortable cruising at AT LEAST twice that. It must be nanny state, low IQ Britain where people fight each other over black friday sales, where it appears some people are not intelligent enough to drive at higher velocities. Thank’s Andy. It’s only when you come across post’s like this, that your memory recalls some of the more gruesome ones. I don’t lose any sleep over any of them, although I did at the time. To long in the tooth now. Just wish sometimes I could put an ‘old head on young shoulders’ .
Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year with your family Andy. See you again at a meet next year. .
