Does anyone know if the 75 is still there? The reason I ask is because I saw a recovery truck go past my work in Dunfermline with a 75 on the back of it. I wonder if it's the same one

If it's not moved by the owner within 7 days of that notice being attached to the car the council will contact a local scrappy to uplift it...... Seems way to good for that.

I might drive across the bridge to see if it's there. If it has gone to a scrappy, is there a way of finding out which one its gone to?

I thaught the days of leaving cars at the side of the road died out in the late 90's/early 2000's with metal prices. Can't see why anyone would do it whichever cos even if a car has had it a scrappy will pay something for it or take it free. I guess they will only be left at the roadside if the metal prices are so low the scrappy wishes to charge to remove a car. Owner also would be liable for back tax & removal costs I would assume so a bit daft IMO.
Shame too as it looks a good car. Agree with what is said phone scrap yards but being as it is to be removed by the council it may have an immediate destruction order on it! |
