I see there are still a few arguments going on and some peeps are throwing their rattles out of the pram.
The forum has gone to pot(I will not say club because its not),I tried to return slowly with a few posts here and there, most seem to fall on deaf ears and no resonses from hardly anyone. Derek and Freddie would have not been amused watching the sad decline of this forum, but that's the way its going, the Rover cars are dwindling and so are the members and experienced traders,so the prognosis do not look good. Just look around and see who do not own a Rover or MG but are still hanging in ,thats was because of the friendship built up making them stay, but they will slowly be off to pastures new. Sadly this will be my last posting in a forum which I once described as the best. Georgie and I will be signing out for good. Thanks to my friends (you know who you are)

Can you not just post up in here? But if not, I wish you all the best for the future. Steve, I like your brand of humour, a natural akin to Freddie’s and Dereks one liners. Chin up. Have a great day Last edited by Gate Keeper; 1st February 2019 at 08:11.. Reason: Spelling |

Morning, solid white with frost here but no snow other than on the Pentland Hills.
Steve, I've been watching the stupid bickering, ignore it, children will be children. |

Yep I agree with Phil & Steve, Life's waaaaaaay to short to sweat the small stuff. I was hoping for more tales of the TPO and chitterling recipes I watched a BTF video on youtube t'other day about the mail/parcel steam train going from London to Edinburgh.

I fully understand where you are coming from and I fear my days on here drawing to a close as well. All you guys in the Lcoz, we have a great friendship and that shall remain regardless of the forum. Although, I’m forever grateful that the forum brought us together in the first place. I shall remember this place for how it once was and the great characters that frequented it. Steve, Dad and I are up to the boat on Monday and will be going to the Bridge Inn that evening if you fancy meeting up for dinner ? That goes for Andy & Debz and Pete, Jay and Mandy as well, or anyone else of course. Just let me know so I can book a table.

Have you watched "Elizabethan Express"? BTF about a non stop Kings Cross to Edinburgh service. I knew Mungo Scott, the Edinburgh fireman who takes over at Northallerton, he was a driver at Edinburgh when I started on the footplate.

Good afternoon Rod, sorry I missed the news of your sister’s funeral yesterday. Rest In Peace.
