We have a 'monitored' alarm system to the police.We have to have a check on it every 12 months, and after around 10 years, the chap who comes to test it, said he would have to fit a new battery as it was not worth off site charging. I kept it and tried to charge it but it soon lost its charge after testing it. So, don't bother charging it, get a new one.
