Yes Harry but post 183 (I think) says .03v difference will cause a charge rate of 3.7 amp so I recon that since a battery has been claimed to have virtually no resistance, applying 14.5 alternator output would (momentarily at least) multiply that figure by 100, maybe more if the battery was completely flat
