'New' tyres
It doesn't do many miles, mostly in the summer, so last time around I fitted a set of budget types all round, and they have been mostly fine. When pushed, it was fairly sure-footed, but when driving relaxed, I got the impression of it liking to wander a bit. I was thinking maybe tracking, but the wear was dead even.
On the last MOT, the inspector suggested they were getting a bit near, so in the months since then, I've been mulling over what to buy. I found a pair of used, 0.5mm of wear, Bridgestone T001's, on FB MP, for £45 each, fitted and balanced, so I had them fitted. They seem just as sure-footed as before, at speed, but in the relaxed driving, they are much less inclined to wander.
