That's interesting!
Just been out and changed the gas bonnet struts, the old ones had reached the point where they could no longer hold the bonnet up for longer than about a minute.
The interesting thing I noticed after fitting the new struts is how easy it has become to pull the bonnet release catch. The new struts have made the bonnet catch's life so much easier. Is this why so many cars have suffered with the dreaded bonnet release breaking ?????
