The Walking Dead and Amazon Prime

Started watching The Walking Dead when it first appeared. Got half way through season 3 and lost interest

Anyway, recently we got an Amazon Fire thing for the TV and started watching it again from the beginning. Have to say that we’ve really got into it this time and, so far, binged watched it to the end of season 7.
Right I thought, start Season 8 tonight and see Rick and co. take on the badass that is Negan.......wrong, season 8 & 9 you have to pay for on top of our Prime subscription!!! £30 they want to view it in HD

Anybody know where else we can watch it apart from DVD. Only got Freesat.
Can’t find any info on when it will be ‘free’ to view on Prime.
