Default Navall 3 - anything i need to know?

Hi all,

Recently bought a Navall 3, looks like a great bit of kit & I am about to install it into my 260.

Got a few questions if I may...

What have people done with their aerials for DAB & TV? Want to do a neat install if you know what I mean.

Steering wheel controls, are they just plug & play?

Anything else I should look out for?

Thanks in advance. 😊

Totally agree. Patience, watch the videos that Jeff has on setting up etc and have a good read through the Navall thread re connections.

I am on my second unit as the first had a bad "memory", with the replacement I am really happy with it. It does what I would expect from a Android unit with some annoying things which are down to Android and not the unit.

Any problems just ask, we have seen and heard most of the them.

TV aerial`s (two) on my saloon are horizontal each side of windscreen at the top and holding on with blu-tack for now, until I get a definate answer about, will the rear screen heater elements cause any interference if I place them on the rear screen?
The selotape DAB aerial is vertical on the drivers side of the screen. I have a roof aerial to install yet and that needs roof drilling so waiting for spring weather, what I have read is..... that a "better" aerial is needed for DAB, either through the glass (magnetic) or roof mounted.

Hi Ken

I'm in the same position, regarding TV Aerials

I have two, Coolcat's (Sir Jeff) advice was to put both on either side of 'Front' screen in 'Horizontal position.

I'm still evaluating at present ,but seems better. TV signals are pretty NAFF - in this area.

Dab is tricky here to. I not sure how to tune properly
