Last one off of the line?
Just looking at production figures and i think my Biomorphic V8 might be the very last 260se Monogram ever made! 879 out of 883 only one car not listed number 880.

That's right Keith, 879 was the sixth from last of the ZT 260's to come off the line and is the final one to be a Monogram variant.
Following yours were: 1 x Ignition Blue (#880 & not an SE) 1 x British Racing Green 1 x Xpower Grey 1 x Starlight Silver (#872 ZT-T LHD Export to Belgium) 1 x Black Pearl |

880 is indeed an Ignition Blue non SE fitted with factory fitted blue alcantara (but not any more )
It is now fitted with sandstone 75 seats, carpets, light oak dash and steering wheel, etc etc. Is this the missing link perhaps, but yes I would say yours would be the last Monogram V8 Keith Brian Last edited by marinabrian; 15th July 2015 at 23:25.. |

Hello Brian
It's nice to make contact again regarding car #880 now with David at Teesside. Your kind assistance with the T4 to bring the electric rear windows onto the control module, the dash lighting modifications and the fuel gauge fault correction were very much appreciated. Since we last spoke I joined the two sixties, (they know me as dpfs) - and recently posted some images of the car taken within the last few weeks. Recently I have found my way around the club website and have asked for forum help in pulling together #880's history. This is on going at the moment - the members have been very helpful. I recall when we were working on the car that you had an amazing knowledge of the MGZT / Rover cars and I very much appreciate your experience. Please find some recent images attached, (hope the links work): http://www9.mg-cars.org.uk/mgoc260/f...1&d=1444764941 http://www9.mg-cars.org.uk/mgoc260/f...1&d=1444765038 http://www9.mg-cars.org.uk/mgoc260/f...1&d=1444764968 http://www9.mg-cars.org.uk/mgoc260/f...1&d=1444765161 http://www9.mg-cars.org.uk/mgoc260/f...1&d=1444764991 Bye for now David Last edited by david simpson; 19th October 2015 at 16:27.. Hi David, Does 880 still have the rover 75 interior? Was it made like this?

Maybe there is another thread on this somewhere, but do we know how many V8's are left in the UK and specifically how many mk 1 V8's are left in the UK. I saw an advert on auto trader a few months back with a mk 1 V8 for sale and the advert stated that the car was believed to be 1 of only 31 left in the UK. Is this correct?
