I believe it's called a HDR photo. As far as I understand it's several layers of the same photo but with different light settings. When those layers are combined you get something like this.
An example:

Even nicer! Is that done in the camera with different exposures, as opposed to software trickery?
Cliff P.S. Where did you put your "Hand wash only" sticker? (just noticed your list of mods)

Hi Steve, I use photo bucket for the videos and photos for the forums. It is user friendly, but does require for the photo to be uploaded from where the photo is stored. Format can be uploaded to PB. I use all files directly to the 'bucket' or into an album I created. There is an option to edit, then save. Once saved, a link box appears, Click on the img code box and when you see 'copied in yellow' you are then able to return to the forum to paste the photo in. Before you do that, visit the option to check the size of the photo saved. Photo bucket will choose X1048 which can fill up the page in the thread. I prefer a smaller size as it takes up less data space for the forum and is easier on the eye. |

Photo effects

Good morning Mark, a stunning looking photo If I may suggest, you could highlight the car better by adding in more subtle light over the Porsche, by playing around with 'the spotlight' effect, then balancing it against the dramatic and moody sky. Just a thought and I hope you won't be offended by this |
