In dash cd player
You'll have to excuse my ignorance on this one, but did MGR ever make an in-dash cd player, ie. a head unit with cd instead of tape?
(one that fills the dash insert/hole, not a single DIN sized unit) I'm aware of the various multichanger options, but don't recall having ever seen a head unit with a cd slot in the front! |

Looks to me like a single DIN option only in OEM equipment.
Have a look here:- http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/index.php?thepage=ice Bottom of the page PDF doument "Update - Later models ICE Overview" Someone may know better of course. |

As far as I'm aware, I think only the single-DIN Ivox models had a CD slot. None of the full-size units have CD slots, only CD-changers either in the glove box or (later) in the boot.
You can buy a wide-screen Boardmonitor for the HighLine SatNav that has a CD (or is DVD?) slot behind the front (sliding) pannel. I think Keith's unit is like this. If you search on eBay for them some will come along from BMW's. Last edited by Simon; 10th December 2006 at 12:57.. Reason: Typo |

Oh well, was just a thought. I'll stick with my single din cd player for now then.
Cheers gents! |
