over heating problem

Well the ZT disgraced herself last night with the temp gauge going up in to the red
gave it a good check over this morning and can't see any problems,
However after taking it for a 20mile run stopping half way for over an hour

the ZT boiled over on the way back after 7miles

so I have checked the fan motor and she works on ok
checked the Thermostat housing seems ok
also the rad isn't leaking

there is no water in the oil

there is however what appears to be copper particles in the header tank guys..

Any ideas please

When the temperature gauge reaches 'normal' is the large coolant hose at the bottom of the radiator hot or cold? If cold, it points to a stuck thermostat.

Once you find the blockage you can do something about it. One member found a huge lump of the stuff blocking his oil cooler, so a new part was necessary.

however how the fook do I find the blockage if there is one

A good question! Knowing the direction of flow, you could start with the high tech. method of feeling coolant hoses.
