KRC-391 replacement advice
Hi,
I have the KRC-391 kenwood cassette radio, with a CD changer located in the boot. The CD changer is jammed and i dont really want to use it anyway. I would like to replace the kenwood cassette head unit with a cd player, radio and aux out head unit- so i can plug my ipod in. would this package be what i am after? https://www.amazon.co.uk/T1-Audio-T1.../dp/B0041WRCBI its seems to tick all the boxes. however i am not sure if it would work with the steering wheels controls on my MG ZT? i am happy to unplug the cd changer and either leave it in the boot or remove it entirely. any help or advice gratefully received! cheers joe |

If you stick with a suitable Kenwood unit that has infra-red steering wheel controls, it will be a straight swap.
If you go for the JVC unit, you don't need the wiring adapter or facia adapter, but you would need an adapter lead and patch lead and some rewiring for the steering wheel controls. |

I think this one would do the trick as according to the spec sheet it has a molex to ISO lead.
