Calling owners in Scandinavia, Germany & Italy
Morning All
Are there any members/owners in Scandinavia, Italy or Germany on here? On the basis that enthusiasts often have more than one car, and if you like Rover/MG you are British car fan... do you guys know of any Austin/Rover/MG Montegos on the road in your countries? I am keen to make contact with such owners, so any help you can give would be much appreciated! Cheers Andrew

Sorry I know of none in Sweden, but if you do facebook there's a general Rover forum here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Roverklubben/ or another for English cars: https://www.facebook.com/groups/761741427278725/. Don't be afraid to post in English as most Swedes managed English very well.

Hi, there are several Rover 75's still being run in Italy. However, virtually none probably are aware of this forum. Whenever we are in Italy and see one parked, we leave a leaflet re the club on the windscreen (in Italian), however, sightings are becoming fewer and fewer.
We drove our 75 out last year and then returned last month and didn't see another in Austria or Germany until signing one in the Netherlands. It would be good if more international owners joined the club. Ray

Andrew,
I'm in Ireland - not sure if you are looking for Italy or Ireland - we speak english very good(sic) and we have a few cars over here. Btw driving in Armenia last month i saw a well kept shiny black 75 in the corner of my eye. isn't it amazing the effect these cars have on our consciousness. ....bit delayed on this thread, but my parents in Finland have a 75 and went to a British car club meet the other month and there were numerous Brit cars that turned up. 75's / SD1 / Jags / Rolls / Land Rovers etc etc etc. Got some photos if wanted.
My parents tried to join the forum too but it rejected them after a day? Cheers.

Sweden
Hello, just seen your post. We have a Rover 75 CDTI,2004, and have a summer home in Sweden. Hedekas, Bohusland. We are often in Sweden, having driven there accross Europe.
We know that there is an antique dealer , in Munkedal, Sweden, who owns a Rover 75. His business is called "Roland's Antiques". Regards, Heather and Stewart |
