Default Some restoration work

I am slowly getting my car to a point where i am happy with it & have now moved onto the bodywork. There was some damage to both the bumpers, the nsf wing was bent & it had had a poor previous repair to the os sill. Both the bumpers have now been repaired & painted & the sill & wing are in primer ready for spraying on Monday. We have today put the rear bumper back in place so we can check the colour outside in the morning. We were totally convinced the colour was not going to match as on the sprayout card it looks a mile off however, looking at it in the workshop i think it looks pretty good.
I have also had the dent man remove some car park dents from both the rear doors & a couple on the bonnet.

It really does change - it is difficult to tell if the car is more blue than green or green than blue. I did intend to two tone it but couldn't decide what with. I think the only colour that would look right is silver - this seemed pointless as i would be changing it from a pearl finish to a metallic so i decided to leave it as it is. The panel guys & painters at work are making a lovely job of it.

Great to see your 75 getting some TLC when many owners wouldn't bother! It'll look brilliant once done, and Odyssey Blue is a fantastic hue!
