An NZ 75 with 20" wheels
Not a bad price too, about 6,000 pounds with 62,500 miles on the clock. Here are the details Quote:
The 75 isn't your usual candidate for 'boy racer' treatment, but the fact that it actually works quite well is a tribute to the 75's handsome lines. I reckon this car epitomises bling. |

Gah! My eyes! My eyes!
Definitely not my kind of wheels. I wonder how a set of wire spoke wheels would fit the 75 though. /Erik |

I know I was talking to him about them at Beaulieu. He came through when we were on the gate................or were you in the little box at the time?

I had 72 spoke chrome wire wheels on my C GT they were a nightmare to keep clean a nightmare to fit tyres to (inertube required) and a nightmare to balance! I loved them, they looked great and were worth all the hassel. I used the car as my every day transport so I had to keep them covered in WD40 all winter, that was fun to clean off in spring, NOT.

My view:
The wire wheels look fantastic on the 75, add to the classic retro look of the car. The 20-inch rims - the car looks great, I personally think the weeks look awful - horrible design, too shiny and too big for the car. Red pimpmobile - not as bad as the 20inch rims, but fairly ugly - last time i saw anything like those they were in Richard Keel's gob in a bond movie.

That is straight 'Gangsta', you would have to go out and smoke some homies in that bad boy, love the rims...

20" wheels - it could work, but I don't like chrome wheels, and I think they've over done the lowering. Looks as though the suspension has collapsed.
Before we traded our 75 in for the ZTT, I was thinking of fitting ZT suspension and ZT 18" wheels to it - a combination that would look both standard, but with a twist. Has anyone done this? I am sure that someone must have? |
